To Gather

The art of doing things together.

To Gather is about creative things you can do alongside other people. Trying something completely new, returning to something you already know and enjoy, or exploring different ways to use your hands, your voice and your body. Come on your own, meet a few new faces, or bring someone along who might enjoy doing something creative with you.

And because it's nice to know what you're turning up to, I want to make the practical bits easy to find. What will you actually be doing? Where do you go? What happens when you arrive? Do you need to bring anything? All those useful little details, so there's less to figure out on the day and more room to enjoy what you've gone there to do.

A little update

I'm currently doing one of my favourite things — exploring, following interesting creative leads and finding people who bring others together through what they do. There aren't any activities listed here at the moment, as I'm still putting this part of The Hope Anthology together.

Ways to gather

Make something together

Creative classes, sessions and get-togethers where you make something alongside other people. From trying a creative technique for the first time to spending time with something you already know and enjoy.

Be the something creative

Not everything you create together has to be something you can hold. From writing and storytelling to exploring movement, rhythm, voice and physical expression, there are all sorts of ways to be creative alongside other people. It's about having a go, finding your own way to join in and enjoying being part of something together.

Bring creativity to your group

Creative sessions that can be brought to an existing group, community or organisation. Something to make, explore or take part in together, arranged specifically for your group.
